I took the last of our donations to the foodbank this morning, There was 25Kgs. The Foodbank volunteers were delighted.

This makes a total of 60Kgs collected from Abthorpe during November and December. A brilliant result. Thanks you to everyone who took the time to buy an extra item and pop it in the box.

Abthorpe Village Green, Sunday December 13th at 4.00pm

With no Beer and Carols or Christingle service, this will be the only chance to sing carols together in Abthorpe this Christmas. It is being held subject to new government rules that allow a limited amount of carol singing, out of doors, with strict COVID secure guidelines. There will be no refreshments. It is not expected to last more than 30 mins. Please bring a torch with you.
